My name is Joana, your Friend at Lisboa. 

Love to travel, love to visit new places and though I like to stay in hotels, also love to stay in apartments and explore the places where I stay like a local. Go to the restaurants they go, shop where they do, go to cinema theatre and concerts as they. As I decided to embrace this way of live, decided to create some places where other people like me can explore my country as I do. I want people to know this great place like a local and not just as a tourist, so I try to do my best  where travellers that come to Portugal, want to feel like they're staying at their own home.

" We live in Cascais and rented Joana’s place for a few days due to emergency works at our house. The apartment is probably in the best location in Estoril, a 5 minute walk to the beach, train station, shops and restaurants and right across the street from the Casino. The indoor garage is an added bonus. The apartment itself is spacious, fully equipped, light, airy, quiet, with plenty of hot water and very, very clean. On the first floor with a lift. Joana is very helpful and efficient. Communication was flawless and there were lots of special touches such as Port wine, cheese and ‘pasteis de nata’ waiting for us upon arrival. On the first night we had problems with the spring mattress so the following morning she bought a new foam mattress to replace it! A great property and a great host. Thank you so much, Joana."

"Well equipped apartment, great location

Joana was kind, very thoughtful, and went out of her way to make sure my stay was wonderful. The apartment had everything I needed for an extended stay and was a short walk from the Estoril Beach and lovely pedestrian boardwalk along the water that goes to Cascais and the bus/train station that takes you to Sintra, the Belem district of Lisbon, and other destinations. It is literally across the street from the Casino Estoril but fortunately it comes with blackout blinds that shut out the flashing Casino lights and decreases outside noise at night. Otherwise it's located in a quiet commercial/residential area. Joana arranged airport pickup/dropoff for me and had a bottle of Portuguese wine, cheese, crackers, and Pasteis de Nata to welcome me. Joana was very communicative with me both before and during my stay and went out of her way to make sure my trip was exceptional"

" Reservamos este alojamiento por la buenas críticas que leímos sobre él y una vez estuvimos allí superó todas nuestras expectativas. Destacamos especialmente el confort, la limpieza de todas las estancias, la luz y la cercanía del alojamiento para poder moverse por la ciudad tanto a pie como en transporte público o en coche. Como bien dice en la descripción, el baño es pequeño y las escaleras de acceso quizás complicadas para alguien con problemas de movilidad reducida; pero en nuestro caso no ha supuesto un inconveniente, sólo hay que saber adaptarse.
Está en un barrio muy tranquilo, céntrico y seguro; lleno de tiendas de alimentación y restaurantes por el que merece la pena perderse. Durante el fin de semana no tuvimos problemas para dejar el coche debajo de casa y por la semana lo metimos en un parking cercano y muy económico. Viajamos desde el norte de Galicia y fue muy sencillo llegar hasta la casa y salir de Lisboa en coche. 
Pero por encima de todas las cosas queremos destacar el trato amable y familiar de las propietarias; siempre disponibles y siempre localizables para cualquier imprevisto o necesidad. 
Ha resultado ser un gran hallazgo. Repetiremos seguro! "
